Student Testimonials
Liz from Bradley Stoke
I’ve always tried to create a picture I would be proud to show off. I’d dabbled with drawing and painting, but lacked the basic skills and techniques to achieve what I had in my mind. I have been given some priceless guidance, techniques, skills and advice, and I now feel more confident and capable to try new mediums and techniques, and I enjoy my art so much more. Thank you.
Yvonne from Yate
I haven’t done any art since leaving school (quite a number of years ago). I have loved the art classes, and am surprised at how much I have learnt. The different mediums and styles we have been taught, give you a varied insight and experience. The Co-ordinators and tutor are very encouraging and helpful. Sign up, you won’t regret it!
Maureen from Winterbourne
I don’t have to provide anything (so nothing to take home). Just turn up, be greeted with a tea or coffee and biscuits, and all I need is set out. The teaching is good, clear and ongoing, throughout the session. Access to the room is good, the company is mixed and interesting. Altogether, a very enjoyable few hours.
Rowena from Chipping Sodbury
Love Art courses are wonderful, and worth every penny. The teacher is great, and always encouraging and positive. Each course covers many different topics and mediums. Also is a great way to meet people.
Shirley from Winterbourne
The preparation which is done before we start is excellent. Thanks for your hard work Emma and Tracy!
Pat from Coalpit Heath
I have been painting for 30 years…… Since coming to ‘Love Art’, I have learnt so much more. Emma, Tracy and the tutor are fantastic. I look forward to learning something new every week and I have made many friends. Everyone has to do the same every time and it’s very interesting to see how everyone interprets. We are all friends but very competitive!!!
John from Chipping Sodbury
I’ve been on a number of art courses over the years. At Love Art classes, I learn something new every week. The tutor is by far the best I have ever encountered.
Mavis from Chipping Sodbury
Whether a novice or experienced artist, everyone’s efforts are encouraged and respected. The tutor brilliantly shares her expertise and imparting it to the students to facilitate theirs. There is an atmosphere of both fun and professionalism from Tracy and Emma who run the courses. You will also get tea and biscuits!
Eunice from Yate

Happy cheerful atmosphere. Good helpful teaching. Very enjoyable lessons.
Helen from Brentry
What I love about the course, is that each week we tackle a different medium and a different topic or artist. This encourages you to experiment and pushes you out of your comfort zone. Quite often you find that something you thought would be difficult, turns out to be very enjoyable and you produce a lovely piece of work at the end of it.
Alison from Winterbourne Down
This is one of the most enjoyable courses I have ever attended. Very friendly and well run. It is astonishing how people with none to a little experience, produce lovely pieces of work, and how varied they look. It’s the highlight of my week.
Mavis from Winterbourne
A good comprehensive course. A variety of mediums and styles. A friendly fun way to find your hidden artistic talents.
